At the beginning of March, when the coronavirus started shutting down my country, I found myself realizing that deep transformational shit was happening right now. Words like “epic” and “biblical” started making their way into my normal conversation. The coronavirus spreading across countries and shutting us all down one by one. The need for social distancing is imperative, and we try like crazy to flatten out the curve, prevent hospital and healthcare overwhelm, and hopefully save lives.
For me, the universe has spoken. The world as we know it is shutting down. Heading to reboot. World 2.0. As a transformation coach, I really feel it. I KNOW it. Change is happening. I’ve been down this road before personally in my own transformations. I GET IT. Total shake up. It’s scary. And it’s messy. We are all feeling uncertain—our health, our activities, the economy. But, when we embrace the change and uncertainty, rather than resist it, our lives have the potential to shift for the better.
The world as we know it will never be the same. We have the opportunity to create a more improved version of ourselves individually and collectively. Perhaps, it’s time to love. Love each other more. Love ourselves more. Love our environment more. Come together and connect more. Trust more. Surrender more. Appreciate our loved ones more. Maybe we are meant to remove the negativity, divisiveness, and fighting, and replace it with positivity, cooperation, and compassion. Maybe we are meant to experience isolation in order to appreciate every moment spent together.
As I always, say “everything happens for a reason.” In fact, I’ve said this so often that my daughter once suggested I tattoo it on my forehead (No worries—I won’t). I don’t have the answers…yet. But I know that this is all happening to raise the individual and the collective consciousness. This is the transformation of our lifetime. We will come out of this better for it—individually and collectively.
So for now, it’s time to slow down and reflect. Stay healthy. Wash your hands. And know that we will get through this together.
If you feel like you need support during this time, please connect with me. There is no need to struggle alone.
Always with love,
Heather
